Each season we draw inspiration from a different country or region. This time, we're delving into the rich cultural tapestry of the Balkans. This collection is a harmonious blend of traditional Balkan wear infused with a modern twist, reflecting the vibrant essence of the region.
Traditionally, we love to immerse ourselves in the culture amongst the locals that inspire our collections. Our founder, Pien, had planned an exciting trip to the Balkans, eager to meet the local people, understand their way of life, and have them style our collection. However, life had other plans. Pien welcomed her new born baby, Paloma - 10 weeks early, and our trip had to be canceled...
Despite these unexpected events, we rose to the challenge and embraced our creativity. We brought the Balkans to our studio in the Netherlands. Through extraordinary set design, local Balkan prints and fabrics, and meticulous study of a typical Balkan home, we crafted a vibrant campaign that captures the heart of the Balkans.
