My Winter Outfit Inspiration

Ever experience that feeling where your wardrobe is bursting with clothes, but somehow, putting together a stylish outfit just seems impossible? In those moments, nothing beats a bit of fresh inspiration. I scour the internet and streets for outfits and combinations that I might not have thought of myself. In this blog, I'll share with you my current favorite Stieglitz winter looks.

  • Layer upon Layers

In the Netherlands, the weather can be quite unpredictable. One moment, you're enjoying the sunshine, and the next, it's pouring rain. The temperatures also tend to fluctuate. That's why I'm a big fan of layers. You can always take something off if it's too warm, and it adds an interesting touch to your outfit. A flannel or blouse under a sweater always works well.

  • Let it Clash

I like a bit of clash in my outfits. Vibrant neon colors and lots of prints. Don't these outfits just pop off your screen? They bring me so much joy.

  • Monochromatic Magic

I love color! In my outfits, the rule is: the more, the better. Wearing color can take various forms. I'm a huge fan of the ton-sur-ton look, where you wear everything in the same color. That way, you're sure to stand out among all the gray mice on the street.

  • A Cozy Affair

Knitwear is a must in colder days. The soft fabrics keep you warm and give you a cozy feeling. I believe we wear too much black, gray, and brown in the winter. It's much more fun to go for bright colors and prints. A bit of cheerfulness in these dark days ;).

  • Matchy Matchy

What's more fun than parading the streets with your bestie in matching outfits? These tie-dye flares are perfect for that. Throw on a warm jacket or vest to complete the look.

  • Suit Up

If your outfit inspiration is running low, and you just can't seem to pull something fun from your closet, I always have one go-to: my suits. They consist of a matching top and flared or palazzo pants and are my go-to. They're as comfortable as pajamas, and you're guaranteed to look good.
